Edwin Van Der Sar

Edwin van der Sar (born 29 October 1970) is form Netherlands, he’s a soccer player who plays as a goalkeeper for English Premier League club Manchester United.
He is the Netherlands national team's most capped player of all-time and one of the few footballers to have won the Champions League with two different teams, having won it with Ajax in 1995 and Manchester United in 2008, the latter where he was named UEFA Man of the match.
Van der Sar moved to Manchester United on 10 June 2005 for a reported fee of £2 million, although the exact transfer fee was undisclosed. Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson considered him the best goalkeeper to play for the club since Peter Schmeichel.
Van der Sar was included in the Netherlands's 1994 World Cup squad but did not play. He had to wait until 7 June 1995 for his international debut, against Belarus. He was in goal for three successive eliminations from major competitions by penalties: Euro 96, France 98 and Euro 2000. Following the Dutch team's failure to qualify for the 2002 FIFA World Cup, Van der Sar would have to wait four years for his next international tournament.

M.V.P?

Yesterday in the awards they gave to the students who play sports, well actually just the best players get the awards. I got the M.V.P of Harding Soccer team, for me its kind a personal achievement which makes me proud because I know I deserve it and I worked for it. After along time of working hard to get something here I finally get it, but also last year I got a M.V.P medal which I don’t thing it was as big as the award from yesterday.
The M.V.P besides making me happy and proud also gave me motivation to play better, yesterday I had one of the best games I have play, and the “best game” Mr. Tyson have ever see me play, that’s what he said.
We won 9 – 5 but besides it was indoor the goals they scored on me was a bunch of own goals and mistakes of my defense where I couldn’t do nothing to stop them, but when I could I did and I did it well and well done as my job requested me to do it.

Ecuador vs. Argentina

The Ecuadorian national team is playing against Argentina today at 5:00 pm,
Ecuador needs to win this game so they can achieve 20 points which would let the Ecuadorian team get in the fight for the ticket to Africa 2010.
Ecuador beat Peru last Sunday by 2 to 1, with these 3 points Ecuador got a new light of hope so they could get to the major tournament, but also if they want to be there they will have to beat Argentina today in Quito, but is not so easy, Ecuador has to wait for other results to come as Venezuela and Colombia to draw so that would give them more chances.
Ecuador is not going to use the same team they used against Peru, the team Ecuador used in the last game was just a “substitute” team because some of it’s players were suspended or injured so Sixto Vizuete had to find another team to play against Peru and that’s why he was trying a new defensive line against Honduras, but it didn’t go so well, Ecuador los 3 – 1 against the “catrachos”.

Quit soccer ?

Again as crazy as this sounds, I do quit soccer, I am not sure and as much as it hurts me to do this but I think is enough and I’m just going to stop it for a little bit because it really takes too much of my time and really is not a good idea to spend all my afternoons and Sunday family time out side playing soccer. But the main reason why I’m doing this is because people don’t appreciate my work! I literally won by my self last Sunday I was the one who was saving the horrible mistakes my defense made and the one who saved the day, but yeah I admit I made a little mistake in the last minutes of the game that’s why they scored on me, but besides I save their mistakes and did a great job they didn’t say even thanks and when I made that mistake they were killing me with their words I don’t think that’s fair.
Also in the other Ecuadorian team they have me as a sub, as a sub? Yes! I’m me, one of the best goalkeepers and they have me as a sub, I don’t like that and is not like I could go to practice and show them that I’m better than the other guy because I tried and it didn’t work so I better just leave them, also I have to go to Ecuador so is not use really to keep playing, I just will go to my aunt’s house to live for a week after school is over then travel to Ecuador, those are my plans.

At the minute 37' Ecuador started wining with a goal scored by the young Jefferson Monter then it was for the peruvian team at the minute 51' by a free kick to put the things even but Ecuador won in with a goal scored at 58' easy finishing a game in which Peru didn't have the chance to do nothing.

Soccer gets you tired?

As you should know by now soccer gets you really tired and I think this is way to much for me… I can play soccer for hours and hours but not every day and until really late as I being doing this week, last Wednesday I played two games in the row the first one at 8 and the other one at 10, but it got me so tired that it was hard for me to keep playing.
At least I won the first game, and I didn’t suck but it was pretty bad, they scored about 5 goals on my, even know we scored 10 I’m not happy with what happened.
But the other game was just ridiculous, playing against the owner of “Corner Kick” is not fun man, it is but the dude knows the field so well that he scored on me from every position possible, he has a really awesome aim and skills which is just hard for me to stop.
This is not everything after that tiring night I had soccer practice next day and after practice another game, that’s just insane man I was so tired yesterday and I still am, even worst I have to come to school which really sucks because I didn’t have enough and I cant sleep in class because this #&^(%$ just keep talking $#*^ about me saying that I sleep in all my classes which gets me even madder that what I am.

My life !

A day in my life of Dan Vasquez is not as easiest as it seems, many people asks why is he always tired? Why is he always sleeping? The answer to this questions is in this little story, Dan starts every day at 5:00 am, cleans up his room then takes a shower and gets dress, after getting ready he makes himself breakfast , eats and then some more personal hygiene and leaves to school.Dan actually hates school because is boring and they don’t teach him nothing new that’s why he uses this time to relax and most of the time sleep. After a tired day at school, he gets home make himself something to eat, then gets on the computer for a little while and then works out a little until any of the many teams that needs him to play with them call him, then he leaves to play soccer, knowing he is a goalkeeper he works more than any other player on the field, he usually finish playing about at 11 or 12 pm, then take another shower and eats a little something before bed but he doesn’t sleep yet; he starts or either playing Xbox or watching TV and starts sleeping about at 2 or 3, depends the kind of day he had.

Crazy stuff !!!

Ok as you already know I like to write crazy things on my blog but this is probably the most ridiculous thing ever! Last Sunday that we went to play with the Ecuachamos team at New Heaven, guess what???
Yeah they picked another goalie over me which #&*ssed me off a lot and just the fact that I wasted two hours of my life made it even worst, I rather stay home or do anything else than seeing a looser steal my place, well it did matter a lot so I decided to quit the team.
I thought quitting the team could be the best idea because if I do that they are going to realize what they are missing and of course later they are going to want me back but I wasn’t going to play with them no more but today I changed my mind, instead of quitting the team I’m going to practice today and show them who the best goalkeeper is, also I know is me.
Also I had another great idea and I already talked to Mr. Tyson about it, the idea is that I might gather Warren Harding Soccer Team and take MY team to play against those Ecuachamos, it seems a good idea but lets see what happens later on.

Barcelona is going down!

The Ecuadorian team Barcelona s.c lost last Saturday against Liga Deportiva Universitaria de Portoviejo, the final score was 1 to 0 in the Reales Tamarindos Stadium.
Both teams got to this game with the same amount of points (20) which is the reason they both needed to win so they could go out of the last positions of the table.
In the first half it was a very even game, the game was going back and forth for the first 40 minutes with many actions in both goals but the goalkeeper Banguera of Barcelona was having a great game keeping all of the shots of Liga de Portoviejo, until in the minute 40 when the defender Jefferson Hurtado made a mistake which let Marquez take the ball and with a distracted defence got trough the right side on the field and shot across Banguera scoring the first and only goal in the game for Liga de Portoviejo.
In the second half it was just one team on the field which was Barcelona, attacking the whole second half as hardest as they could but it just didn't work out, Liga with a strong defence and lots of luck finish the game with a blank sheet. Barcelona lost and remains in the last positions in the table of the Ecuadorian soccer.
